Welcome to Ďomanut haleidaís english please section. This section is editted by Ilana Shemesh, an American born midwife who immigrated to Israel in l973, is a pioneer and leader in the struggle for childbirth reform in Israel.
Ilana was in charge of the Homestyle Birthing Rooms of Misgav Ledach Hospital, Jerusalem. She now provides holistic prenatal care, attends homebirths, and births couples in her two birthing clinics at her home on Moshav Yashresh (between Ramla and Rechovot).
