Sorry, but the computer is auto-disconnecting so I sent before I finished and couldn't check typing errors.
Although it is not hospital policy yet to have rooming-in at night , they went out of their way to leave them together in the delivery room for the night because they did not want the baby in the nursery. All is well, and they are leaving today. So, you see, homebirth is a wonderful option but you must be prepared for life's surprizes and flow with it. Homebirth is a safe option for low-risk women with a professional midwife or doctor and a hospital back-up nearby. I had a good rest yeaterday and am ready for more action!!Ilana Shemesh
