Dear Talila,
I will try to share with your my feelings about Sivan's birth. I feel so blessed to be able to share in this holy and sacred and intimate event--the unbeleivable ultimate empowerment of woman as she brings forth life to this world. We were all women, stroking, massaging, encouraging, waiting for the precious moment, all helping Sivan to use her innate womanly potential, that we all have if we can only trust in our bodies and in nature. It was so beautiful and peaceful to see Sivan working in total harmony with her body, listening to her inner self, trusting and surrendering to the healthy pain and working with her bodies natural ways of dealing with this pain. She moaned, groaned, changed positions, got into the bath, breathed, pushed , reached down and lovingly and in awe touched her babies head as it crowned, on her own bed, in her own room, in her own territory, a Queen mother, with her supportive family close by. There was no domination, only calm reassurance and harmony. I am so privileged.
