Best herbal source is Yellow Dock Root, 10-40 drops three times a day, depending on how low your iron is. Also nettle tea or tincture. Buy an iron pot to cook in (they are black and heavy) and you can absorb iron from this, especially if you cook something with vit. C in it like tomatoes or peppers. Or throw in some large (so you won't swallow them by mistake) iron nails (the kind that rust) in your cooking pots or soups to absorb the iron. Of course, dark green leafy vegetables, molasses, and meat (dark turkey or chicken, or red meat, liver) eggs.
