Well, on my first pregnancy, I did LOTS of US (twins=high risk preg...). I can't say if it did harm (1 of my babies was small for gestational age, and there is concern it might be connected to many US), but I can say it didn't do (almost) any good. I join Gili - You do the best you know - you (and I...) can't do better than that. I did so many mistakes with my first pregnancy and parenthood - The onlu thing I can do, is try to do better this time - and I'm sure I'll do many mistakes this time too (I hope at least it won't be the same mistakes...). My doctor also believes that US should be done every 6 weeks, and didn't take me seriously when I claimed there are risks (but it was ok with him that I decided not to do the exam). this is one reason I didn't go to check ups with him. I think most DRs today believe this way. I prefer to be more causious "Just in case". After I learned (here and another sites) how far the research from the practice, I try to question everything I'm being told (for my childeren as well as for my).
