my pregnancy wasn't planned and so it happened that before I got pregnant I was eating especially BAD - I was working very hard, smoking a lot, eating mostly out, which meant horrible cheap indonisian food or turkish pizza (it was in Holland) and sometimes alcohol - sometimes too much of it. normally I eat quiet healthy so there were days that I couldn't stand it and cooked for everybody - quinoa, vegetables, salads, tehina. at the very beginning of the pregnancy, before I knew about it, there was a weekend that I had to lecture somewhere in a conference - first and last time in my life, I was so stressed that I just smoked and drank alcohol all the time. at least I compensated when I found out about the pregnancy - immediately as I saw the pink stripe I had nausea that lasted a month and didn't let me eat much except quaker and green salads, and of course I couldn't even smell a cigarette - which lasts until now (2 months after the birth).
