Mazal Tov Efrat, In my 20 years as a practicing midwife, I have never heard of a reason for a Cesarian of having stomach muscles that are too strong. I have helped aerobic teachers and gymnasts to birth also and their stomach muscles only helped them to push out the baby faster. Therefore, I really think that you need to get the correct reason for your Cesarian. It sounds to me that it is logical that it could be a possible cephalo-pelvic disproportion. This means that the babies head is too big for your pelvis, and that it why it could not come down after pushing for so long. Are you a small woman with narrow hips and was the baby large? Go and speak to the doctor and find out the true reason as you need to know this for the next birth. Enjoy the baby and speedy recovery from the surgery. Ilana,
