We are using the same method with our daughter. Since we started, we very rarely have to deal with a poopy diaper anymore. We still use them - but only as a back up (and in day care). It is not as crazy as it sounds - it actually works very well and it's much more hygenic, because the poop doesn't go into the girl's vagina like it happens with diapers. x
This method is used in most parts of the world - where they don't have huggies and pampers. x
There is also and israely group of parents who use this method so you will not be the only one ... x
