Does he have a thick white layer on his tongue? Do your breasts itch? If so, start taking acidophilus and see a doctor. x Another possible reason is that he is going through a growth spurt - he empties your breast fast and gets upset that the milk flow is reduced. If that is the case, just put up with it - withing a few days your milk flow will increase accordingly (assuming that you don't supplement with formula) and your son will calm down again. x Another possible reason could be that he is starting to grow teeth and his gums hurt.
