I've done it with Netah when she was 4 months. To israel with my mom and back by myself. x I recommend - have your husband come with you. It is really hard alone (but is possible) x A few tips: x 0. Call your travel agent ENOUGH TIME AHEAD 1. Breastfeeding during takeoff/landing (in general, breastfeeding is easiest when traveling. No need to carry food, and it is easy to calm the baby) x 2. If possible - don't take a car seat. Ask your family or friends to arrange one for you over there. x 3. Take a baby carrier instead of a stroller (again, it is one less thing to worry about and easier to move around in airports (no need for elevators). Borrow a stroller in Israel for the duration of the visit if you need one. x 4. If you use cloth diapers, switch to disposibles for the flight and the visit. x
