an all-inclusive club is a possibility I would have never considered before I had a child but

last year we went to such a club with a 7.5 months old and I think we will do it again this year (I am sure there is somthing similar in the south of Italy, Spain, Greece etc). This is a true vacation. It may seems expensive but if you add all the expences togther (hotel resurants etc) I am not sure it is more than any other travel abroad. The "all-inclusive" feature is very relaxing, b/c you do not need to worry abouth anything from the moment you arrive. With small children it is very convenient. If the club is geared towards families there are activities and most importantly -- shade. Some also have babysitting services (though I did not try them)' so you can enjoy a stroll on the beach Another idea -- less relaxing but fun -- we just came back from a weekend in London. Stayed at a little studio with a kitchen - very convenient with kids, can preapare breakfest before you leave etc. We could not do a lot of indoor site-seeing such as museums because of the little one's fairly high levels of energy, but we did see some (Thank you to the Forum's Noa of recommendation). And we just enjoyed hanging out on the streets, sitting in coffee and tea houses and strolling around. I think any city you have already visited (so do not have to make any "v"s) and love would qualify.
